Today I learned...
Today I learned I'm pretty capable of getting a good essay grade after Dr. Preston handed back my essay. To my surprise, I did better than I thought it did. Only if I can write great qualities essays on the AP exam. Hope for the best. Perhaps it will balance out the meticulous MC questions that we all dread.

Plans: Two
I've decided to review some of the multiple choice section since those give me the most trouble. I'm not too particularily worried about the essay portion of the test.
The quote used for the journal topic is inspirational but it's hard to stick to. A person with low motivation surely wouldn't take the author's words into account. I certainly wouldn't. And I guess that is where I have to change my thinking before taking the AP test.
Geezuz, that timer on Preston's page surely did creep up on us.

3 Essay Questions for Macbeth
Cheesy essay questions, I know.
1. Explain the reasons for Macbeth's rise and fall of his 'king' career. How did this affect the story? (Use at least two literary techiniques to demonstrate your point).
2. Write an essay in which you will explain the theme of "Macbeth" by Shakespeare. Make references to the play and also use at least three literary techniques.
3. Why is Macbeth considered to be both the protagonist and as well as the antagonist of the play? Support your claims with quotes/events.

Crunch Time-- it's time to go
I don't have much of a plan, honestly.
I'll probably, PROBABLY study.
For the obvious reason, of course. I don't want the $79 bucks to go to a waste.
I'm pretty sure those companies make a lot of money anyway.
Back to the topic::
I'll review some vocabulary words and analyze some poetry later on the day.
Doesn't sound like a much of a plan.

Macbeth Notes::Lecture from TODAY
The part that I was present for was the relationship between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. At the beginning, the two were fair lovers but evil stirred up bewteen them and they both because savages. Oh, it sounds like William Goldings' Lord of the Flies when the stranded boys become savages after they commit evil deeds--hmm- interesting.
Anyway, Lady Macbeth is fairly evil to her cowardly husband when she tells him to kill him.
That is the most I got out of the lecture.

Top Three Remixes
Some of them were ties--none of these are in particular order. Dania's was hilarious, Kelli's was neat and organized, Trevor's was creative.

It's over a minute but still take the time to watch this short video I "drew".
It might be boring at first but I did add a dinky animation towards the end. Ha.

A Thousand Splendid Suns
“A Thousand Splendid Suns recounts the experiences and emotions of two Afghani women, Mariam and Laila, whose lives become entangled with the history of recent wars in their country. Mostly bleak and heartrending, their story does offer the promise of hope and happiness in a land ravaged by warfare, gender conflicts, and poverty.

That man's life is but a dream -
is what we now come to know.
Its house abandoned,
the garden has become home
